    AS 21

It is a fertilizer containing 21% nitrogen (N) and 24% sulfur (S) in a form that plants can absorb, namely in the sulfate (SO4 -2) form. Due to its crystal structure resembling sugar, it is also known as sugar fertilizer among farmers. The sulfur in its sulfate form is readily available to meet the needs of plants. As with all base (starter) fertilizers, the nitrogen in ammonium (NH4) form also increases the plant's phosphorus uptake.

Ammonium sulfate fertilizer can be safely used before planting, during planting, during weeding, and before watering in vegetables such as onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, canola, rapeseed, poppy, radish, and carrots, which love sulfur, especially rice, as well as in oil crops such as soybeans, peanuts, and sunflowers. It can be easily applied as a top dressing on all fruit trees (except apples, pears, and quinces) and vegetables, including olive and grapevines. In rice, all the required nitrogen is provided by this fertilizer.
