    Urea Phosphate

Urea Phosphate (H3PO4CO(NH2)2) is a pure, crystalline fertilizer that is completely soluble in water and is used to remedy phosphorus deficiency in plants. It contains 17.5% N as urea (NH2) and 44% P2O5 as H3PO4-. It dissolves easily in water, making it suitable for drip irrigation applications. The physical and chemical properties of urea phosphate are as follows.

It is a dry crystalline fertilizer with strong acidic properties. It has high and rapid solubility. Urea Phosphate has certain advantages over fertilizers such as MAP and MKP, which mainly contain phosphorus. This is due to the form of urea nitrogen and phosphorus present in its content. Therefore, it helps lower the pH value of irrigation water. It helps increase the availability of nutrients that are otherwise unavailable. It also helps reduce clogging in drip irrigation systems by dissolving bicarbonate in the water.
